Ultimamente i fanatici dell’informatica hanno usato comunicazioni simili a “"Tip of the Day” Popup” come tattica di spavento per far credere agli utenti che hanno realmente una seria infezione da parte di spyware e devono utilizzare la “scelta consigliata” di uno strumento per la rimozione di spyware per eliminare il parassita.
